On Sunday, 6 October, the Espacia lawn transformed into a dazzling spectacle of colours, music, and unbridled joy, as the community congregated to celebrate the revered Dandiya/Garba tradition. The ambiance was alive with anticipation.
The festivities commenced with a spectacle of talent, as dancers – kids from Archana’s, Ajita’s, and Astha’s groups took to the stage. Their movements wove a spellbinding narrative, captivating the audience and setting the tone for an enchanting evening.
The ladies’ groups, comprising Praveen’s, Vaishnavi’s, Ajitha’s, and Desi Deviyan, then enthralled the assembly with their attire, accessories, and steps. Their smiles and energy left the crowd entranced, as if under a spell.
Beyond the performances, the night unfolded like a tapestry, offering an array of delights like – variety of shopping stalls where connoisseurs wandered through a treasure trove of beautiful jewellery and dresses.
Food zone offered indulgence in an array of cuisines, a symphony of flavours. Tiny tots, toddlers and young hearts revelled in the play area, where attractions like bouncy castles, games, and trampolines painted laughter-filled smiles.
As dusk descended, the lawn transformed into a canvas of joy, with members resplendent in traditional finery. The finale unfolded like a masterpiece, as the stage welcomed all to partake in the Garba energy. Dandiya sticks swayed to melodies, weaving a dance of unity and celebration.
This evening showcased the community’s harmony, forging memories. Thanks to our cultural secretary, Mrs. Santosh Dubey, whose effort and organisation made this spectacular event possible.
