Street Lights Donated by a Resident

S Block, being the largest block in G K 1, has more than 200 street lights. On average, 10-12 lights are always on the blink due to various factors. Some lights also turn defective, requiring replacements. However, it is tough to get replacements from MCD due to a paucity of funds. There were seven such lights in S Block, and residents near those poles were worst affected. When SBWs shared the information in groups, a good Smartian, Dhruv Gupta of S 372 came forward and donated seven lights. A big thank you to him.
