Members of senior Citizen Forum Prateek Wisteria in their special General Body Meeting held on 18. 09. 2024 elected new executive committee for the year 2024–25. Ball for the election of new executive committee was set rolling in the meeting held on 13. 09. 2024. It was decided to conduct election for the new executive committee. The committee nominated Dr NK Verma as Election Officer for conducting the elections, On 14.09.2024 Dr. N. K. Verma issued the notice for the elections to be conducted on 18. 09 2024
The meeting started with recitation of Hanuman Chalisa by the members after which president of the forum JP Mathur dissolved the existing committee and requested Dr Verma to start the process of electing new committee. Dr Verma, then explained to the members the rules for conduct of election as well as the eligibility criteria for participation in the election process. He further notified the posts for which the elections were to be conducted. After following the due process of calling for the nomination for different post, following new executive committee was elected unanimously. President: JP Mathur, ‘Vice president: R. K. Bandlish, ‘ Secretary: V. B. Sood, ‘ joint secretary: Harpal Singh Balyan, ‘Treasurer: Dr N K Berry
In addition to the above following five members have also been elected as members of the committee: Man Mohan Singh, Y P Jain, Ashok Sharma, S P Srivastava Shri Harish Sachdeva.
After the election results were declared new committee assumed office and in their first meeting unanimously nominated J. P. Gupta as coordinator.
