Assembly Elections – ‘Know Your Candidates’ Initiatives By The RWAs

Ensuing Haryana state assembly elections on 5th Oct’24 ‘fever’ had gripped the whole state so how could the residential colonies remain unaffected? PRWS and QERWA took the initiative of calling the nominated candidates (Independent candidate Naveen Goyal and BJP’s candidate Mukesh Sharma) to face the DLF-1 residents and explain their vision, resolution, and action plan for their problems.    

PRWS arranged the meeting of Naveen Goyal and Mukesh Sharma in A Block Extn. On 28th Sep’24 while QERWA arranged the meet of Mukesh Sharma at the Community Centre on 29th Sep’24 in which Mahesh Sharma, sitting Lok Sabha MP, and Madhu Azad, Mayor also graced the occasion with their presence.

The meetings were well attended and had the active participation of the residents. If elected both the candidates assured to make Gurgaon a clean city on the lines of Indore, the cleanest city in India for the past several years, and to improve the infrastructure. If voted to power BJP claimed to get Sadar Bazaar refurbished and make elevated roads in Gurgaon to ease the traffic congestion.

Naveen Goyal, Independent Candidate for the Assembly elections, visited E Block DLF 1, and he was facilitated by the residents of DLF 1 & 2, and they promised full support to him. The program was conducted by Savita Choudhary wherein Goyal presented his roadmap for solving problems of Gurgaon and spoke about the work done by them so far. 

RK Jain, President PRWS appealed for getting a temple constructed in A Block Extn. and get a dedicated road constructed for Kunskappskolan school from outside the block’s boundary on the Sahara Mall side to mitigate the traffic chaos within the colony. The independent candidate Naveen Goyal assured full support and positive actions on both the demands, if elected.
