Anaiya Giare, a 14-year-old resident of L Block, DLF 2, and a 10th grader at Pathways School, Gurgaon, has showcased her perspective on human impact through a remarkable photography exhibition. Using a Nikon DSLR and under the guidance of seasoned photographers, Anaiya captured poignant images that narrate the suffering of animals caused by human activities. Her work was further refined by a short course she completed at Museo Camera, Gurgaon. Her photographs, praised by her school principal, are now displayed at her school.
Her images, taken across cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Mukteshwar, depict the plight of animals—from joyride elephants in Jaipur to pigeons wounded by manja, the images reveal the harsh reality animals face. These images serve as a wake-up call, urging us to reconsider our actions and their impact on our planet’s innocent cohabitants.
These images send a powerful message: human actions ripple across the lives of our planet’s cohabitants and remind us that pictures often speak louder than words, evoking empathy and action.
