They Are Falling & Causing Damage to Property
Immediately after the rains and during thunder storms decades old trees of the colonies have become very vulnerable and prone to falling. Most of the time big trunks of the trees fall and damage cars parked under them. Recently some of these big fallen branches blocked busy roads of the colony.
Two roads have been blocked by fallen trees. In Maharani Bagh service lane outside 47 and 46A next to Gate #2 and Western avenue outside 50A and 102 FCE were reported to have been blocked (see pix).
In another case on 18 Sep a Maharani Bagh resident reported that G-9 Lopping is needed urgently. A branch overhead fell on the roof of my car and caused severe damage around 7 AM. She added that this could have been cause of a major injury to anyone who may have been standing in the driveway at that time. (See pix)
Reacting to her message another resident reacted that there are 4-5 monkeys clambering all over the trees and walls on your side of the driveway. This may have caused one of the branches to collapse. I’ve tried to chase them away, but they’re still there. I hope no one is feeding them.
