Pruning of Trees

Jyotan (B-517) Is Apprehensive that Heavily Pregnant Tree in Front of Her House May Fall

Everybody, loves to see, lush green foliage around them, especially, in residential areas. During the rainy season, just watching the freshly washed fo-liage, is a heavenly sight.

As rightly said, things look good where they belong, hence, overgrown trees, pose a problem, in residential areas.

Gulu Thadani, has complained, of an overgrown tree, next to C-678. The branches are intruding, into the neighbouring house. Another resident, Jyotan of B-517, is apprehensive, of the heavily pregnant tree, in front of her house, falling. The same tree had almost toppled over, the previous year, during a storm. Luckily, it got saved by a bunch of cable wires. In this incident, the entangled cable wire, became a saviour, for the almost uprooted tree.

Pruning of trees, in residential areas, is a perpetual cause of concern. Often, lack of perseverance, on the part, of the civic authorities, is the cause of this problem. Residents complain to the local RWA, but usually, the process takes more time, than is required. Every year, it’s the same story, with overgrown foliage. (Images of overgrown trees of C678 and B517)
