Fasting ladies exchanged thalis while chanting story on Karvachauth in the Community Center. All were in shimmery sarees and lehngas. The new brides who were celebrating their first karvachauth were wearing bright lehngas with tika and nath and mehandi till arms. Unlike last time the moon was spotted clearly at around 9 pm.
