For ten days the Ganpati celebrations were done at Kailash pati mandir both morning and evening. Puja and Aarti followed by distribution of Prasad, both Home made as well as ordered from outside by the Mitra Mahila Mandal. Hats off to them for their fervour and dedication, so many residents also joined them this time in the distribution of Prasad… daily morning and evening Prasad was distributed to 150 people and on 16th September being the last day, a Halwai was engaged to make the Prasad as about thousand people come to taste the Prasad of curd rice, aloo poori and Halwa.
The Eco friendly Ganesh ji was bid farewell with singing of bhajans and dipped their beloved God into a very big water tub which was also later on worshipped by the residents.. which is in the mandir compound and full of rose petals. It was a much awaited event and ceremony which kept the ladies of the colony busy. After the Visarjan everyone is feeling a vaccum in their daily routine and missing the daily rounds to the mandir mornings and evening. Ganapati Bappa Morya Agle Baras Tu Jaldi Aa”
