Vedaansh Kukreja (PH2, 10 years) secured a Bronze medal at the Seventh Heros Taekwondo International Championship in Bangkok. The son of Tanu and Gaurav Kukreja, he is coached by Suraj Prasad to become the taekwondo champion that he is today.
Vedaansh put in hard work which, coupled with his perseverance and unwavering dedication, paid off in the most incredible way. He won the Bronze in the competitive 31-34 category!The journey to this achievement was not easy.
Vedaansh demonstrated discipline by maintaining his weight for almost three months. He made sacrifices, cutting down on his meals, resisting the temptation of soft drinks and chips, and pushing his body to its limits.
Vedaansh’s commitment to his goal is a true inspiration. This Bronze medal is a testament to his passion for Taekwondo, his ability to overcome challenges, and his willingness to put in the extra effort required to achieve greatness.
Vedaansh secured gold medals at the District and State level Taekwondo championships, 2022- 2024. He also won the Best Goalkeeper Award in the Soccer League, 2023 from FC Noida. He secured gold medals at the Science Olympiad (2021-24).
