The 78th Independence Day, 15 August, saw The Forest Spa complex celebrate the occasion with full patriotic fervour. The event started with the hoisting of the national flag by the TFSAOA president, Ajay Goyal, and the national anthem sung by the attendees with their heads held high in salutation to the flag. Goyal then addressed the audience. In his speech he focused on the welfare causes of the community and the country.
The function was graced by the presence of the executive members. The guests for the special occasion were Sanjay Khatri, IAS, ACEO Noida Authority, Dr. DK Gupta and Dr. Rashmi Gupta (of Felix hospital). They were welcomed and honoured by society. In their address to the people present, they shared their views on civic responsibility, and the importance of health and well-being as pillars of a strong nation.
The highlight of the day was an impressive pipe band performance, with their signature swing, down the central path of the complex. On this occasion, the veterans of the society were honoured in a special ceremony that acknowledged their sacrifices and struggle for the nation followed by a cultural program filled with energetic dance performances, melodious songs and patriotic skits by the talented residents.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks that reflected community bonding. The event was a remarkable success, bringing all together in a spirit of unity and patriotism.
Later TFSAOA and CC sent out the following message to the residents: “Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this day special. Let’s continue to uphold the values that our great nation stands for.”
