As festivals approach, let’s reflect on our actions. Some of us conveniently dispose of old or broken idols by leaving them on park walls, under trees, or near temple boundaries. We may feel satisfied that we haven’t thrown them in the dustbin, but is this really the right way?
Let’s approach the temple committee to designate a special area for these idols and photo frames. This way, they can be respectfully placed and later disposed of by the committee.
By doing so, we can teach our children and future generations to be mindful and respectful of our Sanatan Dharam traditions.Take a moment to think about it. We lovingly worship these idols in our homes, but then abandon them carelessly. Let’s find a better way to show our respect.Join me in this initiative and let’s work together to create a more thoughtful and responsible community.
