Festivals are meant to be enjoyed, and ladies celebrated Haryali Teej with full fun and gaiety of Overseas Apartments. After a parched summer, festivity was in the air. On 03 August many ladies of the apartments came together in green and made Saturday their own. The evening started with Tambola, and then singing and dancing where Sawan ka Jhool and mehndi enthralled all. Amongst the lucky ones, three ladies were crowned “Teej Queen” and special prizes were given to them. Not to be left alone, all participants were given decorated gifts. Finally, the evening was marked by sumptuous snacks where “ghevar” was the main attraction. The day ended with the photo-op session and all ladies walked away happily. The event was well organised by Babita, Ruby, Suruchi and yours truly, and was fully supported by AOA and their staff members.
