Water is one of most essential things that we consume. But why from a plastic bottle?
Do you know that the cheap grade of plastic that is used to make majority of these water bottles leaches microplastics into the water that you drink ? And do you know that studies after studies are providing evidence about the adverse impact of these microplastics on our health? I recently came across a study done by researchers of a university in Austria that said that these microplastics can elevate our blood pressure.
Why are we risking our health? Can we not carry out own water in a steel bottle whenever we step out of home, like the earlier generations used to do? How difficult is it?
We will not only be caring for our health but also help in saving the planet by reducing pollution that’s caused by the plastic waste ,that these bottles generate, which as you may be aware is a very big nuisance all over the world. Because plastic does not degrade for hundreds of years and remains on the earth.
I will leave you with this startling statistics:
“1.2 Billion plastic water bottles are used every day across the world”
