Collective effort will do wonders!
As a community in Anand Lok, we cherish the cleanliness and beauty of our neighborhood, and it’s the collective efforts of each one of us that makes Anand Lok a wonderful place to live.
Anand Lok Residents Association announced the reinitiation of SCOOP THE POOP campaign, a vital initiative aimed at maintaining the cleanliness of our streets and parks. This campaign is a gentle yet crucial reminder to the residents that it is the responsibility of every dog owner, domestic help, and dog walker to ensure that our beloved pets’ waste is properly scooped and disposed of.
The residents were given the message of Educate and Encourage as follows:
“Kindly remind fellow dog owners and walkers of this responsibility if you notice a lapse or bring it to the attention of one of the MC members or Mr. Vinod Gupta, Manager ARA.” The following sign boards were put up at many places in the front and back lanes of Anand Lok.
Samvada Take: A while back ARA had introduced this initiative of ‘scooping the poop’ and had held training sessions especially for the house helps in this regard. The re-initiation of the same is a step in the right direction. We applaud this initiative and wish to inform the readers that many colonies in South Delhi had carried on a similar drive when we had carried this ARA initiative in other colony issues. Kudos to the Anand lok Resident Welfare Association for leading the way.
