Nirvana Country

Origin of Nirvana

Sometime back in the early 2000s, it now seems that Gurgaon was still curling in the womb, that Nirvana got conceived.

This piece of land was faraway from the madding crowds, which at that time would converge at now-defunct toll gates near the Ambience Island, hardly on the radar of any home buyers in Gurgaon and much so outside. At that time, better options existed in DLF Phase 1 and 2, Sushant Lok and South City 1.

Riddled with problems of connectivity, poor roads, lack of infrastructure and circumspect activities of some of the occupants in the neighbourhood, it wasn’t safe to put your money or consider a solitary trip to this place, even in the confines of your car; there were, of course, no takers for the plots here.

We were told that this redevelopment was blessed by none other than His Holiness Sri Dalai Lama ji and thus the project earned the name Nirvana.

Step into 2006-2007, thankfully Unitech converted this into an Oasis with 3-tier security, nice clean landscaped development with open architecture and uniformity gracing a rare to find low rise gated community with 24-hour power backup, regular water supply, waste management and an excellent Rain Water Harvesting system which obliterated the need of having those nasty open drains.

Living here has been bliss, attribute that to the infrastructure we have or to the excellent community we have finally emerged to be. Thanks for keeping the bonhomie alive, making it a place to come back every evening with great solace.

Thanks for keeping Nirvana, what it is meant to be.
