Prateek Fedora Society recently buzzed with excitement as it hosted two delightful events organized by
the Prateek Fedora Apartment Welfare Association (PFAWA). A painting competition on July 14th and a table tennis tournament on July 20th brought residents together, celebrating creativity and sportsmanship in the community.
The painting competition saw enthusiastic participation. The theme, “Our Beautiful Environment,” inspired participants to express their artistic talents while promoting environmental awareness. The society’s club house was transformed into a vibrant art gallery, with canvases depicting lush landscapes, serene wildlife, and imaginative interpretations of nature. Judged by local artists and PFAWA members, the competition was a testament to the childrens’ creativity and dedication to environmental causes. Prizes were awarded in various age categories, and all participants received certificates of appreciation for their efforts.
A week later, the society’s community hall echoed with the spirited sounds of the table tennis tournament. The competition featured two categories: Under 12 and Under 18, showcasing the athletic prowess of Prateek Fedora’s young residents. The matches were intense, filled with skillful serves, strategic shots, and nail-biting finishes. In the under 12 category, Devika of B-710 clinched the first prize, while Sarthak of A-1403 emerged as the runner-up. The under 18 category witnessed fierce competition, with Shloak of C-1514 securing the winner’s title, Harshit of A-902 as the first runner-up, and Pratham of A-1403 as the second runner-up. Additionally, Zoraan of C-714 was recognized with the Promising Player award for his exceptional potential and sportsmanship. All the winners of the table tennis tournament will be felicitated on August 15th during the society’s Independence Day celebrations. This event will be a moment of pride for the young champions, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
Prateek Fedora Society’s commitment to fostering a sense of community through such events is commendable. The painting competition and table tennis tournament not only provided a platform for residents to showcase their talents but also strengthened the bonds within the community, making Prateek Fedora a lively and cohesive place.
