On Sunday, July 21st, Ridgewood RWA organized a Van Mahotsav celebration by inviting senior citizens and children to plant tree saplings at pre-determined places.
The saplings were provided by RWA. It was overwhelming to see seniors, children, and others who volunteered to do the noble act, assisted by our gardeners and staff. To make Ridgewood even greener in the months and years to come is the dream of the present RWA. With the blessings and encouragement of seniors, this dream will surely fructify and blossom. Tina Anand, a member of the RWA in charge of horticulture, deserves a pat for organizing the event that brought out residents on this pleasant morning, which otherwise has been hot and humid off late.
