Waterlogging and flooding of roads in South City 1 is a recurrent phenomenon during every monsoon, as it is elsewhere in Delhi-NCR. Perhaps taking a cue from what IAG (I Am Gurgaon) had done a few years ago to clear the roads of water in front of Shiv Nadar School, some of us like Mandeep Kalra (M 125), have successfully diverted the rainwater to adjoining green areas/ parks and stormwater drains in our colony. In addition to timely desilting of stormwater drains, this simple measure can provide an easy and cheap way to recharge the water table and prevent waterlogging.
