Fun-Filled Activities for Children of DLF 2

Bachpanshaala by Nandita Chopra, a resident of J2 block, DLF 2, had conducted a workshop on financial literacy for youngsters by a volunteer Agastya Bassi, a12-th grader studying in Shriram Aravalli School, on July 21.It is observed that the teenagers lack the knowledge of investment, working of stock market, and in general, financial literacy.

The term financial literacy means the ability to understand and effectively use financial skills.Thus, it is an essential foundation for smart relationship with Money.

The workshop covered various topics such as shares, taxes, different currencies, and the apps for supporting trading. It was a platform to teach the underprivileged about investment techniques. The workshop was open to anyone interested in learning with a special focus on the younger crowd. Around 15 to 20 children attended the workshop.

As part of Bachpanshaala 3rd birthday celebrations which was on 19th May, the children were taken to Urban Akhara, which deserves high praise for its dedication to create outdoor adventure sports spaces that not only brings joy and excitement to the participants but also demonstrate a commendable commitment to inclusivity and social responsibility. It was a valuable experience for children and had a positive impact on lives especially those who might not otherwise have access to such enriching activities.

Nishwarth Sewa Foundation, by Sapna Sehrawat, a resident of K 10 Block DLF Phase 2,organised a drawing competition for the underprivileged on 10th of July 2024. All the participants did a commendable job and the prizes were sponsored by the residents of DLF Phase 2.
