The annual BGT ( Basic Garden Training) completed successfully on 18th July. It’s a ten-day course followed by a test on the last day. A six-day Advanced Garden Training was also held from 22nd to 27th July. Both the courses are important for all garden lovers and for their malis. The expert faculty trains the members to care and maintain the gardens with their expertise and knowledge. Post COVID these courses have been conducted online making it easy for members to attend from the comfort of their homes.
Unit 42 met for it’s monthly meeting on 26th July at MP Hall, Powergrid, Sector 43, Gurgaon. The speaker for the month was Dr.S.S Sindhu ji. He shared his vast knowledge with the members. The main topic of learning was, what to grow and how to grow during the monsoons. He explained all the points very patiently and shared tips with the members. Members were pleased and excited to learn and gain knowledge from an expert.
Keeping the spirit of sharing and exchanging saplings / seeds members exchanged and gifted cuttings of seasonal plants amongst each other.
