If Nirvana country needs to be defined in one word, “Bio-Diverse” is the word! As much Bio diverse in its flora and Fauna, as much it is Bio diverse in its residents’ population and activities’.
Walking through Nirvana country is bliss for any nature lover and peace to any tired, cluttered urban mind. Unknowingly, you will hear many different birds’ sounds, calls of koel and greater coucal competing with each other. At times, you will see peacocks, peahens and chicks walking by your side or crossing your path; Red wattle lapwing mom protecting her eggs and chicks in the ground in any smallest empty ground space.
If you are walking in the mornings of monsoon, you will notice many rare birds like yellow footed green pigeon and migratory Indian Black Ibis.
If you lift your chin a little, you will notice a rich skyline lined with different foliage of trees. Few trees flowering in any given season! Evergreen to deciduous, forest trees to avenue trees, they line up different lanes inside Nirvana country. Bushes and shrubs arranged in hedges or ornamental styles decking up parks, by lanes or even providing a green screen to a seating area.
In the mornings and evenings, you will be greeted by many walkers’ groups, cyclists, and runners and will notice yoga and fitness practices in parks. The parks buzz with cheers for children’s football and cricket teams.
Different breeds of pets walking by your side, so do the stray dogs neatly collared and mannered. Cats criss-crossing roads swiftly, mongoose, snakes, and rodents of all size hiding in their natural habitats for their chance to come out. At times monitor lizards too were spotted in the open grounds.
Residents from different parts of the country and also expats enjoying this state of Nirvana and congregating to build communities like book club, art club, fitness club, religious club, and so on.
Nirvana Country, true to its name, unites this biodiversity inside its campus in the most urban backdrop of the city of Gurgaon.
