An awareness programme on three new criminal laws —Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita ( BNSS), Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA)—was conducted on 1st July at Community Hall D-3&4, Vasant Kunj. 75 residents attended the meeting! Aman Panwar, advocate general, Karnataka Government, Manju Sehrawat, vice president, Dwarka Court Bar Counsel, Pradeep Sehrawat, senior advocate and Anand Khatri, standing counsel, Delhi High Court attended the programme and briefed the residents about the new law amendments and also replied to the queries of the residents. All the residents as well as RWA members, including presidents and other senior officials of RWAs of different sectors in Vasant Kunj appreciated the efforts of Delhi Police in organising such an important event. Sahdev Rana, SHO, and Vipin Kumar, inspector investigation, Delhi Police, Vasant Kunj (South) were among the senior police officials present at the meeting.
