We believe that Oil India, as part of their CSR initiative, have installed (in consultation with the RWA) an EV Charging station next to the Safal Vegetable booth. Residents who own EVs feel that the charging station will not be of any use to them. Why would they charge their cars at the Safal booth as most (if not all) EV owners have a charging point at their premises. The station is likely to be used either by outsiders passing by Sec 15A who need urgent access or the EV rickshaws who don’t own charging stations of their own. A resident doctor has reported that so far she has seen only three-wheelers charge their vehicles here.
