It is indeed very sad what the first rainfall did to our colony where at least 300 basements where flooded. But it is equally distressing to the see residents dumping the malba across the colony especially near the dhalaos and green belt of the nallah instead of disposing it the right way. At certain locations wooden furniture and polythene bags are dumped in so large numbers that they are piled on the roads. Is this the responsibility of the MCD to remove who are overburdened in removing silt around the colony?
