Apex Senior Citizens Club celebrated a get-together program on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Club 26 Restaurant. The admin team celebrated birthdays and wedding anniversaries of their members who had their special occasions in May and June. Unfortunately, the celebration for the members with May birthdays couldn’t take place due to the passing of a member. Fifty members attended the event. The birthdays celebrated were: Col R L Puri on May 2 (F-1102), Anil Prakash Gupta on May 22 (F-801), and Nirmal Singh on June 4 (E-203). The anniversaries celebrated were: Mrs. & Mr. Raj Kumar Sagar on May 6 (C-901), Mrs. & Mr. RKS Chauhan on May 8 (D-504), and Mrs. & Mr. Jogesh Sharma on June 16 (B-801).
Additionally, four new members, Shahid Hashmi, Kahkansha (E-2403), Rakesh Singh, and Neema Singh (C-1302), joined the event. Activities at the event included playing tambola, musical performances by Rakesh Babbar, Jogesh Sharma, and Manju Saxena, and a script performance by Sarbjit Singh Pahwa and his wife Harmeet Kaur. The admin also informed the members that the Screening Committee, comprising of Col. R L Puri, Bindu Mathur, and Rishi Kumar, reserves the right to approve or reject membership applications, as well as the right to remove any member from the group for valid reasons. Members were advised that failure to attend the monthly get-togethers without a valid reason for three events would result in their removal from the group. Upcoming celebrations at Apex Sr. Citizens Club include anniversaries of Anil Kapoor on July 3 (C-2502), Naresh Chandra on July 14 (C-1601), Udai Bhan Singh on July 6 (F-1703), Shahid Hashmi on July 25 (E-2403), and birthdays of Bindu Mathur on July 4 (C-1902), Shahid Hashmi on July 15 (E-2403), Sangeeta Saxena on July 21(B-102), Himanshu Malik on July 23 (E-2504), and Ranjana Kumar on July 30 (D-1801).
