ANRWA Holds Its First Ever Yoga Day
Yoga is our heritage. The International Yoga Day is celebrated annually on June 21 to create awareness about its vast potential in improving overall health and wellbeing. Every year, International Yoga Day adopts a specific theme to focus the celebrations and activities around a particular aspect of Yoga. The theme for 2024 is “Yoga for Self and Society”. ANRWA proudly celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21st June at the E block Park.
Residents were invited to one-hour Yoga session to be conducted by an accomplished teacher who is Masters in Yoga from Rishikesh. He specializes in the cure of anxiety, hypertension, insomnia, parkinson, body aches and several such ailments through yoga, marma therapy and acupressure.
The program was held at the E block park of the colony and the timings were from 6:30 am to 7:30 am. Residents turned up enthusiastically to participate in the event and avail of the opportunity to learn from a person who not only especializes in Yog asanas but was actually holds a Masters in Yoga. Residents were welcome to participate even if they were unable to do yoga. The event was followed by light refreshment.
ANRWA thanked the residents for participating in the Yoga Day event. Their enthusiasm and energy made it a truly special day. We hope that the tips given by the Yoga instructor will be useful.
