On the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra Shiv Mandir Y block celebrated Rudrabhishek of Shiv Parivar on 16 th June 24. It is said that GANGA descended from Heaven to Earth on this day of Jyeshth Shukl Dashmi. Every year Arora family from Gautam Nagar performs this elaborate Puja enthusiastically sitting around Shiv Parivar. All the Deities of Shiv Parivar were offered Panchamrit Milk Gangajal Belpatra Chandan paste Flower garlands and Sweets and Halwa with chanting of Shiv Strotram and Shiv Mantras. Shiv Parivar Sthapna was done by Late Smt Prem Arora and her sons Pankaj and Vivek Arora on 13 th June 2017. Carrying forward the Legacy the whole Arora family including children comes forward to celebrate this occasion with Bhole Nath’s Kripa and blessings. After Puja and Arti Bhandara was organised and well served by Bahus and children. This time it was Rajma- Chawal and Halwa in Prasad enjoyed by a huge gathering.
