Green Tips

With temperatures soaring to dangerously high levels, we often discuss global warming and where the world is headed. But let’s face it, sitting in the comfort of our air-conditioned rooms, we barely feel the gravity of the matter. Since it’s not directly affecting us in the near future, we tend to ignore it. However, pretending it’s not happening won’t help. The reality is now staring us in the face. I’m not an activist (yet!), and I’m not here to suggest any drastic steps. But our consciences are nagging us (or at least, they should be). As a reminder to all of us, without sacrificing too much of our comfortable lifestyles, let’s try these easy steps: – Turn off extra lights: We’re already glowing, who needs extra illumination? – Use LED bulbs: Eventually, you get more for less!  Conserve water – Let’s be real, it’s too hot to shower anyway.  Walk, bike, or use public transport: When it’s not too hot, cold, or rainy… you get the idea. – Reduce, reuse, recycle: Carrying our own bottles and cutlery makes us feel like eco-superheroes! – Plant trees -who doesn’t love a little more shade, fresher air, or a good tree-hugging session? Install solar panels and support renewable energy- flaunt your wealth in the right way if you’re a millionaire!

Reduce food waste: Eat or distribute leftovers, or compost waste—let’s be real, we love food and so do worms! – Educate yourself on the environment: Impress your friends with your climate change trivia! – Use eco-friendly products: It’s trendy and we’re cool! Remember, every small action counts… until we invent a machine that turns empty talk into clean energy
