Yog Vigyan and Manav Kalyan Trust, New Delhi, conducted an eight-days Motapa Niyantran Yog Shivir from 25 May in Kalypso Court from 6-7:30 AM. 30+ residents from across Wishtown joined in. The daily routine consisted of Suksham Kriyayein, Yogasanas and Pranayamas guided by trained yog shikshaks. The Yog Sansthan President spoke about Motapa (obesity) and its reasons, symptoms and impact. The President also talked about proper diet and ideal weight as per BMI guidelines. To reduce motapa, different techniques were highlighted. Yogasanas, pranayamas and laughing exercises were performed daily.Shuddi kriyayein such as Kunjal, Rubber neti, jalneti and eyewash were also a part of the Shivir, performed on the weekend. Participants had an enjoyable time, gaining benefits while noting a motivational boost to their weight-loss journey.
