The JCO Club’s Karwa Chauth is most famous in the colony and every year Ladies of DCA’s EC organise this most happening event to give chance to the lovely ladies who participate with maximum energy. The event starts with Mehndi on the hands till late night on the previous day. The ladies who used to go to Lajpat Nagar and sit on roads to get their hands coloured with Mehndi are now getting a personalised service at the JCO club in the most comfortable and hygienic atmosphere. They can enjoy the most delicious food and drinks while waiting for their turn. This year more than 100 ladies got their mehndi done and were appreciating the organisers for this professional work. The Karwa Chauth day is full of activities with ladies coming to the club wearing beautiful saris to participate in many competitions. They sing, dance and play Tambola etc to pass their time during the auspicious full day fast.
