The Reebok Running Squad (RRS) in Noida is not just about staying fit and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow runners; it’s also about giving back to the community and the environment.
Urvashi Anand has been the force behind this fitness regime for thousands of Noida residents. RRS team conducted a plantation drive on World Environment Day, 05 June. The event was also joined by Rajiva Singh, President NOFAA, who is also an active environmentalist and fitness enthusiast.
The RRS team members planted saplings on 05 June in the Meghdutam Park. It was also a Global Running Day that day. It is a heart-warming example of how sports communities can contribute to environmental sustainability. By combining their passion for running with a commitment to greening their surroundings, RRS Noida members are setting a powerful example for others to follow. It’s initiatives like these that help foster a sense of responsibility and collective effort towards a greener, healthier planet.
Kudos to the RRS Noida for taking such a meaningful stride!
