The soaring temperatures did not stop the residents of RP2 from having some fun. The RWA organized a Summer fest with stalls for shopping and many food options. Children enjoyed many rides and bouncy. Ladies were seen shopping for beautiful suit pieces, home furnishings, and trendy jewelry. The wide variety of food stalls from chaat to rolls and bakeries gave a break to everyone from regular home cooking. The chuski stall and paan were quite popular among all to keep cool.
The highlight of the evening was a performance by small children. It was a wonderful presentation put up by the students of Rajani maám. This was followed by a Live Band performance which kept the residents engaged with beautiful retro numbers. The foot tapping and soothing music forced some of the ladies to get up and dance. Another highlight of the evening was a young talented resident Muskaan from X block RP2 who got up on stage and sang a melodious number. The rain showers in the afternoon were certainly an indication for the residents to come, have fun, and forget about the scorching heat.
