Beating the heat, Summer is at its peak, breaking all records, with the temperature crossing the 50 degrees mark. Everybody, whether birds, animals or humans, is in search of water all the time. Think about those labourers who are working out in the open, under the scorching Sun, or the maids, auto and rickshaw drivers, car cleaners and delivery boys who are running on their bikes from morning to night. Under the summer onslaught, all they seek is a glass of cold water. Keeping this in mind, the KALYANI group of Wellington provided refreshments like roohafza, buttermilk, lassi, nimbupani, and aampanaa with some snacks to all the roadside vendors, travellers, and Wellington staff. The refreshment drive started on 10thMay and until 28thMay. Considering the prolonged summer, the distribution drive will continue until June.
