Thanks to control of the Covid-19 cases in the last few months, the festival season of 2022 is quite different from the last 2 years. The colony’s market is now decked up with gift items, food options and illuminating to welcome the residents. The shopkeepers, supermarkets, sweet and gift shops have already started getting good response.
The forthcoming Diwali shopping mela on 15-16th will provide the maximum options to the residents to choose gifts for their loved ones. The budgets for shopping are now quite high to accommodate more shopping and food options to have parties. The famous “Teen Patti” parties, dinners etc already on peak after Dussehra and will increase in the remaining days till Diwali.Residents are installing decorative lights in the balconies to get ready for creating the best lighting this year.
We at Samvada once again request our readers not to purchase any crackers this year to keep the pollution levels under control. Let’s use Diyas, Candles etc to illuminate our sweet homes. Let’s enjoy house parties with our friends and relatives to enjoy each moment of Diwali, Dhanteras, Karwa Chauth and Bhai dooj. Wishing you a safe and enjoyable festival season 2022!
