Guarded Gates-A Journey From Hope To Harassment

Three friends, 55yrs 65yrs 75yrs tired of their health issues passed a clinic with a new and interesting name The car passed the clinic and took a U turn to see what is new in treatment that could improve their ortho problem. Asked the chowkidar who was busy watching a movie on his phone if the clinic was open. He nodded and they climbed the stairs. Rang the bell and waited or few minutes. When no one answered asked the guard if the clinic was open and about the doctor. He had no clue about it and said I think the attendant must have left. They asked for the number whom to contact to take an appointment His phone video watching a movie was on full volume and still on. He was lost in it. On asking two three times and when we raised our tone he fiddled on the phone to look for a number to contact. He gave a number of the attendant and we called. We told the person on the other side to at-least leave a card or whom to contac, Timings of the clinic and little information brochure to the guard or outside the clinic. No doctors name, phone number, timing, etc were available. So we went away disappointed. Within minutes we got a call and a group is formed on WhatsApp showing our CCTV footage, and a lady rude and arrogant in her behaviour claiming to be a lawyer showing our car registration number and our photos on CCTV. We could not sleep all night and due to stress and anxiety we were in a terrible mental state

Were we wrong in seeing a beautiful name for treatment? Were we wrong in entering the clinic out of curiosity? Were we wrong if we checked the guard who was not doing his duty. Were we wrong if we wished that after visiting the clinic we would recommend our age group friends to get the treatment done from here. We all belong to a respectable family and resident of the same colony. If some good can happen from our recommendation to senior citizens then why not. And here istead of helping us out they have created such a big issue of tresspassing . Do u think we will ever recommend a doctor like this to anyone. It’s through word of mouth that can make or break a doctor.

Our old Hindi maxims are absolutely befitting on this incident “ Paropkar Karne Nikle  Aur Joote khane ko mile, poncho Dukaan Pheeke Pakwaan’

Such incidents make you bitter and one refrains from helping others for the fear of getting entangled in any legal issue. Thankfully these ladies were from the same colony and all were well off and well connected. Had it been another ordinary person would have definitely been trapped into a difficult situation.

In the nutshell The moral of the story is that don’t get influenced any any new and swanky place or get enamoured by attractive boards without knowing the authenticity of the place.
