Major pruning of the trees is required across Shantiniketan. Some of the trees are so over grown that the foliage is covering the street lights and sometimes even the traffic signals. This needs to be addressed immediately as a number of dark spots in the colony are making it vulnerable to theft and chain and mobile snatching. The MCD officials, especially the horticulture department needs to take up this issue asap.
