South Asia’s Biggest Women Leadership conference, exhibition, networking and awards ceremony was held on 29 February at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The theme was – “Role of Women in Upliftment of Country”. Their “Ek Nari 100 pe Bhari” is a development advocacy platform that brings in the stories of women to uplift and recognize them for the hard work they put in tirelessly and selflessly day in and day out as social workers, industrialists, educators and entrepreneurs.
In the above event, Dr Rachna Pandey (ATS Greens 2) was awarded as the Social Entrepreneur of the Year. A well-deserved honour conferred on Dr Rachna! She is a Pediatric Dentist by profession, an amazing baker by passion and an entrepreneur. Love for cooking helps her churn out healthy recipes and dishes for her healthy clientele.
She started gratitude baking for the condominium staff during the COVID pandemic as a way of showing appreciation to them and to teach them, and her kids, the importance of empathy and giving to the people who help you in life’s daily doldrums.
This led to the founding of SaRa’s kitchen in the year 2020 which she is running successfully since inception. Her passion for cooking and serving the food with the known ingredients made the platform set on fire. She brings a variety of experience to her kitchen from working for kids and food quality impacting their quality of life. The kitchen is known for its green initiatives and serves the food with the best ingredients available, mostly organic or home crafted shipped in eco-friendly packaging.
She is extremely passionate and committed to environment and green practices. She is associated with an NGO, Jan Jagran Sangathan, for last six years and actively drives community services, go-green habits such as waste segregation, no single use plastic and discourages people from disposals for events and functions. She actively promotes usage of utensils sourced by the ‘Bartan Bank’ initiative of the NGO.
A multi-tasking person with passion and social commitment, we wish Dr Rachna good luck for her future growth.
