Mahashivratri Celebrations Bring Joy to Residents

Preparations for Mahashi-vratri at Gauri Shankar Mandir in DLF Phase 2 began days prior, with residents eagerly decorating the temple premises. Intricate flower arrangements adorned the pathways, while strings of lights illuminated the night. On the auspicious day of Mahashivratri, a large number of people congregated at the temple, filling it with fervent devotion and jubilation.

Amidst the echoes of ancient hymns like “Namo Shiv Shambhu” and chants of “Har Har Mahadev,” the atmosphere brimmed with spiritual energy. Families came together, fasting in reverence, seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva. The significance of Mahashivratri observed on 8th March, resonated deeply with attendees, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.
Brahma Kumaris ashram celebrated Shivratri in their own special way with decoration and dance drama performances by young kids. The Ashrams Center head Didi cut a cake to symbolise the ceremony and it was followed by lavish Brahma bhoj. 

This revered Hindu festival holds profound meaning, emphasizing the pursuit of inner peace and spiritual awakening. As the community gathered to celebrate, they found solace and inspiration in the timeless traditions of worship and introspection.
