To mark International Women’s Day, the social and literary group Hansta-Jeewan, which is helmed by Sukshmalata Mahajan (D-67), honoured 16 women with Sashakt Nari Samman 2024. Additionally, 6 men who have always worked for the upliftment of women were also awarded Shiv Shakti Samman 2024. Digital certificates were distributed to mark the occasion. While Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide to appreciate the role of women in society, the Hansta-Jeewan group has been working for the upliftment of women for the last 12 years.
