A major fire broke out in A block on the second floor of the building. The fire was caused by short circuit in one of the appliances lying in the back side. The fire was so massive that it spread fast destroying the false sealing.
Once again our RWA guards came to the rescue like always who without fearing for their life with fire extinguishers in their hand led by their Deputy chairman (security) Col Nagrani went to the second floor and tried their best to extinguish the fire and evacuate the family members.
Fire tenders landed but were unable to manoeuvre through the cramped lanes thanks to the haphazard parking done by residents. Taking note of situation president, A block Vijay Bhardwaj took full charge and got the fire engines to the location and managed the operation till the end.
Also, the SHO and his team were personally present at the site. A great co-ordination effort by both the associations.
