The International Women’s Day on 8 March is a day when women are recognised for their achievements in all fields be it national, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. We Espacians too celebrated this special day by giving an opportunity to our fellow lady residents to come forward & showcase their skills by putting up stalls – food, clothes, accessories, craft items and many more things.
The ladies were given a platform to pitch about their personalities and exemplary skills through an introduction round. The organisers did an amazing job. Aishwarya Mishra handled the digital work posted in groups related to the event; Divya Tater managed the stalls; Minu Sachdeva organised the pitches; Sunaina Ahluwalia and Namita Gupta did a fantastic job as emcees; Padma ji and Mahua lined up the music and dance; Santosh Dubey and Vidushi Maan looked after the preparations which was a commendable job on their part.
Kudos to our resident entrepreneurs – Divya Tater, Chhavi Gupta, Sukhmani Kaur, Dr Kanika Agarwal, Meena Bachhety, Sanjana Mohan, Pratibha Jain, Himmi Jain, Suprabha Singhi, Ishha Ajmera, Dr Surbhi, Parul Aggarwal &Neelam Bodh!
A Lazy Dance performed by Tower 38 ladies, Nikhita Maheshwari,Minu Sachdeva and Sunaina Ahluwalia, stole the show.
To sign off, I wish all women a very happy women’s day! Your strength and kindness make you truly special. Keep being the amazing women you are!
