The women of GK, as a collective force, have embarked on a mission to enhance the deteriorating conditions of W Block Park. One of our notable initiatives involves adorning the empty walls of the sitting area with empowering artwork, created by and for women. Additionally, we’ve repositioned fences and implemented various improvements to elevate the overall ambiance and beauty of the park.
Artrium, spearheaded by the talented Urmila Yadav, serves as the artistic organization behind these transformative endeavors. Located at S-445, GK2, Artrium is not just a hub for artistic expression but also a catalyst for community engagement. Through Artrium, we not only adorn the park with inspiring artwork but also conduct workshops and events aimed at fostering creativity and unity within our neighborhood. Together, we’re revitalizing our shared spaces and empowering women through the vibrant language of art.
