Janpath holds a place in the hearts of Hamletians, with many cherished memories. A thread that bound many of us was the breathtaking sight of bougainvillaea that once adorned the boundary of AOH, stretching beautifully from gate 2 to gate 1.
A stroll down Janpath at any time of the year felt like a walk in paradise, with bougainvillaea charming us with their myriad colours: pink, yellow, light pink, orange, white, and more.
In corners of the world, the bougainvillaea flower holds diverse meanings. Some perceive it as a symbol of protection and spiritual connection, while others find it a representation of peace.
We now bid farewell to the bougainvillaea that have been removed to make way for repairs. These blooms not only shielded us from prying eyes but also nurtured our souls and brought happiness into our lives.
We hope that the repairs be done soon, and the bougainvillea brought back into our lives.
“As we walk through life, we leave traces behind us. Some fade quickly, while others linger… So it is with a bougainvillaea. It leaves behind a trace of incomparable beauty, a fleeting reminder that life can be glorious.”
