There was a long-standing need at Sector A, Pocket C to install Boom Barriers at the Security Gates, both Entry and Exit Gates. These bars act as a traffic control device by blocking vehicular or pedestrian movement. It also ensures that that a vehicle or person passes through it only after a security check. According to Vinod Pant, the President of the ARWA, he had detailed discussions with the Vice President, Mr Prateek Pathak and other ARWA Executive Committee members and came to the conclusion that there was an urgent requirement to install Boom Barriers in the Colony. Mr Pant explained that Boom Barriers are dependable, improve security and traffic flow control and provide immediate privacy from unauthorised entry. With the support of our esteemed MLA, Shri Naresh Yadav the Boom barriers have been installed recently at the Security Gates- all through the MLA LAD funds. We cannot thank Shri Naresh Yadav enough-he has many a time come to the help and support of the Colony residents with respect to such important civic issues.
