Pet dogs have always been an integral part of our society. A lot of residents get their pets to the park to walk which as per govt and MCD rules is allowed like humans, dogs have the right to use the park.
But there are certain people who take the extra liberty of unleashing the dog in the park, which as per rules is not allowed. The main issue here which comes is that the owner says, “My dog doesn’t bite”. The owner may be aware of that but can the person who is scared feel the same way even if he is aware.
Secondly, the issue of picking up dog poo actually has a fine of Rs 200 as per MCD rules but nobody cares leaving people walk in the park stepping on it.
On the other hand, lots of parks have NO DOGS ALLOWED boards which is also incorrect like mentioned earlier.
Lastly, would just like to say of animals adjust and co-operate with humans why can’t we humans cooperate with each other and a live and let live together policy is maintained considering each other’s comfort level.
