As always, with lots of elan and camaraderie, Imperialites came forward to celebrate the 75th Republic Day celebrations at the Lawns. 220 residents braved the cold and foggy weather to participate.
The event began with children unfurling the flag with an enthusiastic outpouring of National Anthem by all present. Gen VP Singh presented Commendation Cards to the guards and took the salute. Sweets were distributed to all guards and maintenance staff.
Everyone revelled in tea/ coffee, hot Alu Puri and happy banter carried on with laddus in the end.
The enthusiasm of one and all shows that IC stands tall with the national and cultural ethos of India.
