This year, a cultural organization celebrated Lohri festival with fun and frolic at the Community centre on January 12, 2024 .
The celebrations brought together more than 500 families to celebrate the rich culture and traditions of Punjab.
The program commenced with an address by i Vipin Malhan, J.P. Uppal & TS Arora.
The festivities unfolded with an orchestra group, treating the audience to melodious Punjabi songs that resonated with the spirit of the occasion. Outstanding performances by male and female singers, as well as vibrant Bhangra dancers, captivated the audience, immersing them in the vibrant Punjabi culture.
Distinguished guests, including Manjit Singh GK, Vimla Batham, Manoj Gupta and other dignitaries, were warmly welcomed with shawls and mementos. They graciously shared their kind wishes and blessings, adding to the warmth of the celebration.
The core committee worked diligently to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Food stalls offering a taste of North Indian and Chinese cuisine added to the festive atmosphere.
The Lohri bonfire brought together all members and their families in a joyous celebration, with prayers for happiness and prosperity. Large number of people attended the event, reveling in the festivities, accompanied by lively DJ music.
