We all witnessed with awe how ‘Shree Ram Janm-bhumi Murti Pran Pratishttha’ at Ayodhya on 22nd Jan’24 took the whole nation by storm. The Vedic cultural revival involving the masses in construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, culminated after the struggle of some 500 long years, has been unprecedented in Indian history. The whole nation got immersed in the devotion and reverence of Prabhu Ram or may say got overwhelmed ecstatically ‘Ram-maiye रामय DLF residents too were very exuberant on this auspicious occasion and participated wholeheartedly in various celebrations at various venues.
On the nationwide call from the Mandir Trust councillor, Rama Rani Rathee ji’s office organised ‘Akshat Nimantran Yatraa’, with dancing and devotional music playing, passing through various lanes of DLF-1 distributing the sacred ‘Akshats’ on the doorsteps to the residents. On the D-Day (22nd Jan’24) of ‘Pran Pratishttha’ at Ayodhya Rama Rani Rathee ji’s office, a big TV screen was installed for collective live mass viewing of the Ayodhya ceremony in the DLF-1 Community Centre. The viewing was preceded by bhajans rendered by a group of ladies. A ‘Bhandaraa’ was also held in the end.
In the A-Block Extn. PRWS, ABEMHC & Residents organised ‘Sundar Kaand Paatth’ (recited by block’s ladies) and ‘Bhandaraa’ at Vita Park. All 3 combined teams put together a wonderful show very meticulously and made the event grand and enjoyable.
Prasad was made in pure Ghee was distributed to 1000 people. Jai Shree Ram could be heard all over. People who came for Prasad were very appreciative of organizing team. Prasad area was very well managed by creating separate queues for ladies & kids. Priority was given to senior citizens. Stalls with Shree Ram printed were distributed.
The Sankat Mochan Mandir at the outer corner of the block celebrated the event by performing Havan, installing new deities of Ram Durbar and Lakshmi Narayan after conducting Pran Pratishttha in them, arranging a big TV screen for live mass viewing of Ayodhya ceremony and a ‘Bhandaraa’ for all.
