The lawns of RP2 sounded divine with the chanting of the Sundarkand Path on January 22, 2024. Residents, both young and old, came together to chant the path.
The whole atmosphere was delightful. The arrangement of the event was made on the main lawns, which were bathed in light sunshine. A beautiful décor was created surrounding the Ram Darbar. Books for reference were arranged for all those who wished to chant. All the residents performed Aarti together, and prashad was distributed among the attendees following the path.
Sunderkand is the fifth of the seven kands (parts) that make up the epic Ramayana. It is credited with the ability to provide protection against evil. It also brings happiness and fortune and aids in removing barriers in one’s way. It is believed that our long-pending problems are solved, obstacles removed (Kashta Nivruthi), and our legitimate desires are fulfilled (Karya Siddhi).
